How we'll work together 🤝
A short video from Nick on how we'll work together.
Week 1
0 of 8 doneWelcome aboard! 🎉
I honestly don't know what's realistic in a week for shooting, editing and posting, and you'll need time for both. I definitely want to give you plenty to be getting on with, which I think this is. If I've overdone it or underdone it, just let me know and we'll figure it out together as we go.
Overall, I'm super excited about what this means for Better Way, and I think you're the perfect person for the role. I'm always around on WhatsApp or email for a chat.

Setup tasks
I post to all our social media from a single platform. I'm very happy to show you how, or you can do it whichever way works best for you.
Ideas to film
Each one tied to a page on the website. Catch Lyle on a job and ask. It doesn't need to be fussy.
Standing seam vs exposed fastener
Our newest article. Stand Lyle next to a metal roof (both types, if you can) and work through seven questions, one per section of the article. Each answer can be its own short clip.
Lyle gets crib notes from his own article, so he knows exactly what's coming.
The seven questions + Lyle's crib notes →A whole roof replacement, start to finish
On the next full replacement, a drone time-lapse from tear-off to finished roof. Show the clean site and the dumpster at the end of the day.
One shoot gives us the website video, a Reel and maybe a Reddit post.

When a tear-off turns up bad boards, grab it. Close-ups of the damage, then Lyle on why it has to be replaced and what it typically costs.

At least one reel a week that's all yours: fun, interesting, unusual, whatever you think will get seen. Your idea, your edit.
Sparks: a drone reveal · a tear-off in 15 seconds · odd finds under old shingles · quickfire questions in the truck · what roofers do on a rainy day
